Coupon bonds for the Worcester Lunatic Hospital, 1875-1895.

Pursuant to St 1875, c 160, the state treasurer was authorized to issue scrip or certificates of debt to meet expenses incurred during construction of the Worcester Lunatic Hospital (St 1870, c 238). Coupon certificates, issued in 1875 and valued at $1,000, were due in 1895 with interest paid at five percent per annum.
